Cambridge Climate Leader Program
The Climate Leader Program offers Cambridge businesses and organizations a way to be part of the community-wide effort to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming. The program is a joint effort of the Community Development Department and the Public Works Department. To participate, a business or organization submits a completed agreement (see below) pledging to support the goals of the Cambridge Climate Protection Plan and to actively work on greenhouse gas emission reducing actions involving energy, transportation, and waste reduction. The City commits to continue its own emission reduction efforts, publicly recognize the efforts and accomplishments of Climate Leaders, and to develop programs to support Climate Leaders.
