A word from Jean-Dany Joachim: Cambridge Poet Populist
Almost a year ago when I became the Poet Populist of this city, I pledged to continue to share the beauty and joy of poetry with all during my term and to open the forum to many more voices. It is in the spirit of continuous celebration and appreciation of this art, that I invite all residents of Cambridge and beyond to the Cambridge Poet Populist Poetry Festival on Sunday April 18, 2010 from 12Noon-5:30pm Over 50 poets, writers and presenters will share the podium to share their work in the true celebration of unity and the art of words, bringing creativity, talent, diversity and energy. I encourage everyone to come enjoy one of the fine public literary events offered by the city.
