31st ANNUAL CAMBRIDGE RIVER FESTIVAL

Join us for this one-day celebration of the arts, attracting 200,000 annually. This FREE event along the banks of the Charles River features jazz, folk, Latin and world music performances, dance, art demonstrations, family art-making activities and over 100 specialty food purveyors and craftspeople!

CAMBRIDGE RIVER FESTIVAL PROCESSION

This year's Cambridge River Festival, the Cambridge Arts Council honors the memory of legendary storyteller "Brother Blue." The Festival opens with a procession led by a large-scale puppet of Brother Blue and his iconic butterflies, created by Eric Bornstein of Behind the Mask Theater. The procession starts at 11:30 a.m. in Winthrop Park in Harvard Square (JFK St. and Mt. Auburn St.) and processes along JFK St. to the Charles River.  A special Thank You to the following community members for their generous support of this project: M.F. LOCATION
Along a mile-long stretch of Memorial Drive between JFK St. and Western Ave. Between Harvard Square & Central Square on Memorial Drive.
