Biogen Topping Off

On June 26, 2012 the topping off ceremony took place for the new Biogen Idec building on Binney Street near Fulkerson Street.
This project, which is being built by Boston Properties, will create 188,000 square feet of space to house Biogen Idec’s “Innovation” group initially, with the potential to be converted to lab space if needed in the future.
Along with another building being built for Biogen by Alexandria, this project represents dramatic progress in reestablishing Biogen Idec’s presence in Kendall Square.
