Central Square Advisory Committee

The Central Square Advisory Committee is appointed by the City Manager to undertake all large project reviews and to receive all applications for variances and special permits for activities within the Central Square Overlay District. The Committee is guided by the objectives and criteria contained in the publication “Central Square Action Plan”, City of Cambridge, November 1987, and “Central Square Development Guidelines”, July 1989, in addition to the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance.

The Committee meets as needed, on an irregular basis.
