Pricing Strategies Workshop

  • Date: Monday, February 9, 2015
  • Time: 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
  • Location: Cambridge City Hall Annex, 344 Broadway, 2nd floor Community Room
  • Description: In this workshop, participants will learn the best ways to set their pricing to meet their business goals and bring the highest value to their customers. Participants will walk away from this session understanding: current pricing strategies, methods to align your price with your customers' value perception, pricing techniques to drive customer behavior and more! Presented by the Center for Women and Enterprise.

Steps to Starting Your Own Business Workshop

  • Location: Cambridge Public Library Main Branch, 449 Broadway, Community Room
  • Description: This workshop is ideal for those in the early stages of starting a business or those thinking about owning a business. Topics include: refining your business idea, business structure considerations, license and permits; and additional tips and tools to get you started quickly.  Presented by the City of Cambridge.

Best Retail Practices Workshop

  • Description: Do you own a restaurant of storefront business in Cambridge? Attend the Best Retail Practices workshop! This workshop provides participants with best practices in retail interior design, marketing and operating in Cambridge. Businesses will also learn about eligibility for Parts 2, one-on-one in-store consultations and Part 3, grant program and the application process for both.

In Pursuit of Capital

  • Date: Tuesday, March 17 2015
  • Time: 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
  • Location: Cambridge Public Library Main Branch, 449 Broadway, L2 Community Room
  • Description: This workshop will provide you with an overview of funding types and sources, explain criteria used by lenders in assessing financial proposals, review the elements of a classic loan package , assess the current resource environment, and demystify the pursuit of capital.
