The Economic Development Division works with the Center for Women & Enterprise, Cambridge Community Television (CCTV), Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and local organizations to provide business development programs and services to Cambridge residents, entrepreneurs, and businesses.

AdWords of SEO? Starting Your Digital Marketing Campaign

A Social Media Strategy - Where Do You Start?

  • Description: The world of social media can be overwhelming. With seemingly every business posting on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn; it can be hard to make your brand stand out. In this class, Metter Media will help you craft a social media strategy that works for your business and industry. Whether you've already been posting and want to improve, or have yet to get into this "social media thing", we will teach you how to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), solidify goals for your business (and how to achieve them!), build your voice, brainstorm creative content ideas to help your brand stand out, and more.  Presented by Metter Media.

Shopify for Small Business Workshop

  • Date: Tuesday, October 23, 2018

  • Description: This workshop is an introduction to Shopify - an e-commerce platform that has everything you need to sell online, on social media, or in person. You will learn how to set up an online store, create and edit product information, and integrate with a credit card processor. Presented by: Jonathan Schwartz. This class will be recorded.
