A paid fire department detail is required for the following activities:

• Any cutting, welding, or burning that is done inside an occupied building or building undergoing demolition.
• Any public or private events where propane is being used.
• Any public or private event with an extraordinary large gathering of people.
• Any public assembly occupancy where open flame candles will be used.
• Dust control for buildings undergoing demolition (unless provided by the contractor).
• When the fire official deems it necessary for public safety.
