Operating a Motor Vehicle With A Suspended Registration

On 11/5/08 at 12:12 AM, an officer traveling on Mass. Ave. conducted a motor vehicle stop. After running the license plate through the RMV, it was determined that the registration was revoked due to cancelled insurance. The operator was issued a citation.

On 11/5/08 at 12:45 AM, a Sargent St. resident reported that an unknown person(s) damaged her vehicle by throwing a pumpkin onto the windshield while it was parked on Hollis St.

On 11/5/08 at 7:00 AM, a Cambridge resident reported that her husband charged into her, slamming his chest into her chin, leaving a red mark during an argument over laundry.

On 11/5/08 at 9:43 AM, the IT Director for a school on Matignon Rd. reported that three computer hard drives were damaged by unknown person(s) sometime since 10/24/08.

On 11/5/08 at 10:16 AM, Jarol Santiago, 36, of 9 Sylvia Ct., Hyde Park, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class “A” Substance.

On 11/5/08 at 10:17 AM, a reporting party stated that an unknown person struck and damaged his motor vehicle as they were pulling into a parking space on Fulkerson St. Damage was located on the passenger side rear bumper.

On 11/5/08 at 5:37 PM, a reporting party stated that unknown(s) entered their apartment through an unlocked side window. When he returned home, he found the front door open. He entered to find things thrown all around and a camera, a Wii console and two laptops missing.

On 11/5/08 at 7:13 PM, a Cambridge resident reported that his motor vehicle was damaged by an unknown motor vehicle while it was parked on Mead St. The suspect vehicle fled the scene without making owner/operator information known.

On 11/5/08 at 7:39 PM, a reporting party stated that unknown person(s) entered her motor vehicle in an unknown manner. The unknown suspect took several items.

 

 

Warrant Arrest

On 11/5/08 at 8:08 PM, officers responded to the pit in Harvard Square for a disturbance. Joseph Logue, 48, of 240 Albany St., Cambridge MA, was identified as the person causing the disturbance and was found to have an active warrant out of Attleboro District Court for Disorderly Conduct. Logue was subsequently placed under arrest.

 

 

Unarmed Assault to Rob

On 11/5/08 at 9:44 PM, officers were dispatched to the area of Thorndike Street for a male screaming for help. The officers arrived in the area and spoke with the victim of an unarmed robbery and assault at the Fifth Street Laundromat.
