On 12/17/08 at 1:49 AM, Frank Forrest, 41, of 10 Matignon Rd. Cambridge MA, was placed under arrest after he attacked his girlfriend.

 

 

B&E Motor Vehicle

On 12/17/08 at 2:03 AM, a Norfolk Street resident reported a B&E to a motor vehicle in progress. On scene, officers met with the victim and the suspect. The suspect was identified as Cheval Holmes, 38, of 188 Washington St., Dorchester MA. The suspect matched the description given by the reporting party and was positively identified by the victim who caught Holmes in his motor vehicle. The suspect was placed under arrest for B&E  to A Motor Vehicle at nighttime for felony.

On 12/17/08 at 8:32 AM, a Pleasant St. resident reported that an unknown suspect smashed the passenger side window to her motor vehicle and stole several items between 12/16/08 and 12/17/08.

On 12/17/08 at 9:01 AM, an officer was dispatched to the parking lot behind 1010 Mass. Ave. for a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle.

On 12/17/08 at 9:24 AM, an Upland Rd. resident stated that he parked his motor vehicle in his driveway at 6:00 PM on 12/16/08. On 12/17/08 at 9:00 AM,, he discovered all four tires missing, the passenger window shattered,  the glove box lock broken, and the center console open.

On 12/17/08 at 9:41 AM, a resident of Cambridge had their motor vehicle broken into while parked in the garage on Putnam Ave. The method of entry was through a smashed right front window. Taken from the vehicle was a GPS system.

 

 

Larceny From Building

On 12/17/08 at 9:58 AM, an officer responded to the T-Mobile cell phone kiosk at the Galleria Mall to document a larceny from a building report. Upon arrival, the officer met with the reporting party who stated that two unknown suspects walked away with a T-Mobile Samsung cell phone and exited the mall.

On 12/17/08 at 10:15 AM, a Marlborough resident reported that his motor vehicle was damaged by a hit and run motor vehicle at the corner of Willow Street and Palermo Street, while parked un-attended between 12/16/08 and 12/1708.

On 12/17/08 at 11:01 AM, an officer was dispatched to a parking lot on Cambridge St. for a report of a B&E to a motor vehicle.

On 12/17/08 at 11:!2 AM, a Holworthy Street resident reported that unknown person(s)  stole three barrels and three recycle bins from in front of her home.

On 12/17/08 at 12:53 PM, the manager of a business located on Brattle Street stated that an ex-employee entered the building and stole money from the office.

On 12/17/08 at 1:00 PM, a resident of Cambridge had their motor vehicle broken into while parked on Mt. Auburn Street. The method of entry was through a smashed right front window. Taken from the vehicle was a GPS system.

On 12/17/08 at 1:47 PM, a resident of an inn on the Concord Turnpike stated that her motor vehicle was damaged while it was parked overnight in the parking lot on 12/16/08 - 12/17/08.

On 12/17/08 at 2:12 PM, a victim stated that a suspect threatened him at their apartment complex on Forest Street.

On 12/17/08 at 2:17 PM, Daniel Gelb, 28, of 1011 Washington St., Newton MA, was placed under arrest in Central Square on several active warrants.

On 12/17/08 at 2:22 PM, an officer responded to Otis St. to document a larceny from a building report. Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim who stated that an unknown suspect(s) stole her wallet that was stored in her bag on 12/12/08 at approximately 9:30 PM.

On 12/17/08 at 3:52 PM, a reporting party stated that while trying on shoes at a store located on JFK St., unknown person(s), stole her black back pack that she had placed on the bench next to her.

On 12/17/08 at 4:28 PM, a victim stated that person(s) unknown smashed the passenger side window on her motor vehicle.

On 12/17/08 at 5:23 PM, a Crawford St resident reported that a package was ripped open and its contents were taken from his apartment building.

On 12/17/08 at 6:00 PM, a resident of Franklin Street stated that her vehicle’s two driver’s side tires and rims were stolen and the vehicle was left on a brick for support.

On 12/17/08 at 6:45 PM, a Cambridge resident reported being assaulted on Cambridge Street by a member a social club located on that street. The victim stated that he was struck over the head by a bottle of beer causing a laceration over the top of his head.

On 12/17/08 at 7:02 PM, a Cambridge resident stated that she lost her wallet containing her checkbook, three credit cards, and her driver’s license.

On 12/17/08 at 7:37 PM, a Cambridge resident stated that person(s) unknown removed two packages from her front steps.

On 12/17/08 at 10:43 PM, a victim reported that unknown person(s) stole her credit card number by an unknown means and used it to charge several hundred dollars worth of merchandise over the Internet.

 

 

OUI-Liquor

On 12/17/08 at 11:23 PM, Mathew Stanley, 35, of 206 Chestnuthill Ave., Allston MA, was placed under arrest for OUI-Liquor after he was observed operating his motor vehicle erratically on Green St. near Sidney St.
