On 6/25/09 at 1:14 AM, a Harvard St. resident flagged down police at the intersection of Windsor and Broadway and reported that she had cash stolen.

 

 

Malicious Destruction of Property Under $250

On 6/25/09 at 2:17 AM, a Cambridge resident reported that a relative threw a brick through a window in his apartment.

 

 

Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle

On 6/25/09 at 8:30 AM, 28-year-old Marcelo DeSouza of 17 Winter St. Medford, MA was arrested for unlicensed operation and a failed inspection sticker on Western Ave.

 

 

Unarmed Assault to Rob

On 6/25/09 at 10:58 AM, police responded to the corner of JFK St. & Mt. Auburn St. on the report of an unarmed robbery. After a brief investigation, 39-year-old Bruce Thompson of 53 Woodsworth St. Dorchester, MA was arrested for Assault and Battery and Unarmed Robbery.

 

 

Class A Drug Distribution

On 6/25/09 at 11:14 AM, 29-year-old Roberto Perez of 8 Jefferson Park Cambridge, MA was arrested for Distribution Class A (Heroin) within 1000' of the JFK School in Somerville.

 

Larceny Over $250

On 6/25/09 at 11:28 AM, a resident of Walden St. reported that he mailed a check to a construction company in Somerville in May and has recently been notified that the check never arrived. The check was cashed in Florida.

 

 

Malicious Destruction of Property Over $250

On 6/25/09 at 1:33 PM, the reporting party stated that he parked his motor vehicle in a garage on Mt. Auburn St. at 10:30 PM on 6/24/09. At 10:00 AM on 6/25/09, he discovered that an unknown suspect(s) keyed the front hood area and the front passenger side fender of the vehicle.

 

 

Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise

On 6/25/09 at 1:34 PM, 26-year-old Justin Russo of 31 Oak Island Rd. Revere, MA was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealment after he was observed concealing a shirt selected from the Macy's sales floor and then exiting the store without paying for the item. Russo then proceeded to flee from loss prevention officers through crowds in the Galleria Mall, Charles Park, and on Charles St.

 

 

Motor Vehicle Larceny

On 6/25/09 at 1:34 PM, a resident of Watson St. reported that he parked his motor vehicle on Auburn St. at Pearl St. around 10:30 PM on 6/25/09 and found it stolen this morning.

On 6/25/09 at 3:39 PM, the reporting party stated that on 5/27/09 at approximately 6:00 PM, an unknown suspect(s) stole his cell phone from his locked locker at the Frisoli Youth Center.

On 6/25/09 at 4:12 PM, a Columbia St. resident reported that her ex-boyfriend violated the conditions of a restraining order on 6/25/09.

On 6/25/09 at 5:15 PM, the reporting party stated that on 6/12/09 at 1:00 PM, she lost her Haitian Green Card in Central Square.

 

 

Assault and Battery on a Child with Injury

On 6/25/09 at 6:32 PM, 43-year-old Angel Roman of 89 Norfolk St. Cambridge, MA was arrested on Lawerence St. for A & B on a Child Under 14 with Injury and an active warrant out of Worcester District Court for Resisting Arrest and a Municipal Ordinance Violation.

 

 

Shoplifting by Asportation

On 6/25/09 at 7:42 PM, 17-year-old Derek Jackson of 12 McRegvey Way Roxbury, MA was arrested for Shoplifting by Asportation after being seen by Macy's loss prevention leaving the store with concealed clothing that he had not paid for.
