On 10/23/09 at 12:40 AM, Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for defective equipment on the corner of Windsor St. and Hampshire St. the operator was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended License.

 

Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

On 10/23/09 at 2:22 AM, police responded to a disturbance involving several homeless persons on Green St. One man was struck by another's cane.

On 10/23/09 at 2:48 AM, 31-year-old Migueline Pierre, homeless was arrested for Trespassing.  She was found hiding inside a gated yard on Kinnaird St. 

 

Domestic Dispute

On 10/23/09 at 9:16 AM, police responded to Mass Ave. for a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The male party who was not present reportedly pushed his girlfriend.

On 10/23/09 at 7:48 AM, it was reported that a motor vehicle parked on Kinnaird St. was broken into and several items were stolen including a GPS system.

On 10/23/09 at 4:09 PM, Harvard Coop on Mass Ave. reported a theft of jewelry valued at over $3,500.

On 10/23/09 at 4:44 PM, it was reported that an unknown person(s) smashed the passenger side front window of a motor vehicle while it was parked on the fourth level of the 55 First St. parking garage.  Stolen for the vehicle was an I-pod and two old cell phones.

On 10/23/09 at 5:01 PM, a Peabody, MA resident was cited for Failure to Stop after an officer signaled him to stop on Broadway St.

On 10/23/09 at 6:13 PM, it was reported that a motor vehicle while parked on Albany St. was broken into and a GPS unit was stolen.

On 10/23/09 at 6:56 PM, an unknown person(s) approached a motor vehicle that was stopped on Mass Ave. and ripped the door handle off.

On 10/23/09 at 8:23 PM, it was reported that a motor vehicle while parked on Mass Ave. and Cross St. was broken into and a backpack containing a GPS was stolen.

On 10/23/09 at 8:29 PM, a victim reported that while at work a co-worker assaulted her by pulling her hair, biting and hitting her with a phone.

On 10/23/09 at 10:32 PM, it was reported that a motor vehicle was stolen while parked in the Fresh Pond Mall parking lot.

On 10/24/09 at 1:06 AM, 28-year-old Sada Foley of 24 Beechmont Terr. Hyde Park, MA was arrested for Operating after Suspension,  a License Plate Violation and an outstanding warrant at Cambridge and  First St.

On 10/24/09 at 9:45 AM, it was reported that a victim received two calls from suspect on his cell phone.   The suspect stated that if he did not pay her the $1900 that he owes her she would go to the police and report that he raped her.

 

Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended License

On 10/24/09 at 10:05 AM, police witnessed a vehicle make an illegal U-turn on Mass. Ave near the intersection of Mellen Street. Subsequently, it was determined that the operator, was Operating a Motor Vehicle After License Suspension.  A Criminal Complaint Citation was issued to the operator.

On 10/24/09 at 10:53 AM, a non-resident reported the theft of her wallet. She stated that last time she saw it was Friday, October 23, 2009 while she was at a coffee shop in Central Sq. Cambridge. It contained a credit/debit card, which was later used to charge up several hundred dollars worth of merchandise.

On 10/24/09 at 11:53 AM, 47-year-old Gary Young, homeless of Cambridge was arrested and charged with Shoplifting. This occurred after the manager of the Dunkin Donuts in Central Square observed Mr. Young take two bags of coffee and conceal them inside his coat. Mr. Young then left the store without paying for the merchandise.

On 10/24/09 at 12:18 PM, a resident of Cambridge reported that his Sovereign bankcard was stolen from the ATM at 515 Mass Ave. and used at various locations depleting the monies in the account and causing his account to be overdrawn.

On 10/24/09 at 12:57 PM, a resident of Cambridge reported that while her motor vehicle was parked one Richdale Ave an unknown  person(s) smashed the front passenger window and stole the radio, cellphone charger and a spare key.

On 10/24/09 at 3:45 PM, a Cambridge resident reported being assaulted by an acquaintance while on Mass Ave.

On 10/24/09 at 4:17 PM, a Brockton, MA resident was issued a criminal citation after a motor vehicle crash investigation revealed he was operating a commercial vehicle out of operating class.

On 10/24/09 at 5:23 PM, an employee of Shaws on Mt Aubrun St. reported they observed a female take 2 bottles of liquor and leave the store without paying.

On 10/24/09 at 6:59 PM, a female reported that she received a threatening phone call while at work in Cambridge, a message was left on her voicemail and the suspect threatened to kill the female.

On 10/24/09 at 7:27 PM, Shaws on Mt. Auburn St. reported a male took a bottle of liquor and left the store without paying.

On 10/24/09 at 8:07 PM, a delivery driver reported he was robbed at knife point by two males in front of a Maple St. address. The suspects fled on foot after taking $200.00 dollars from the victim.

On 10/24/09 at 8:11 PM, a domestic dispute was reported between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The girlfriend wanted the boyfriend to leave her residence.

On 10/25/09 at 2:33 AM, a victim was stabbed by an unknown male following an argument in front of 515 Mass Ave the Sovereign Bank ATM.

On 10/25/09 at 12:36 PM, a victim reported that while walking up the stairs of her building, she was met by two suspects that intentionally blocked the entrance to her apartment. Victim reported this is an on-going problem between the tenants upstairs and herself.

On 10/25/09 at 3:23 PM, a Cambridge resident reported that while she was at T.J. Max at the Fresh Pond Shopping Center she left her pocketbook in a dressing room while she went out to get some clothes to try on. When she returned her pocketbook was missing.

On 10/25/09 at a victim reported that her wallet containing approximately one hundred dollars in cash, credit cards and misc personal items was stolen from her un-locked locker by an unknown person while exercising at Healthworks located on White St.

On 10/25/09 at 7:40 PM, a non-resident reported that an unknown female struck her in the face after a confrontation with the victim's daughter on Cambridge St.

On 10/25/09 at 9:04 PM, a resident reported that someone had taken her wallet from the bar at the Plough and Stars. Taken along with the wallet were credit cards an ATM card and a MA License.

On 10/25/09 at 9:05 PM, it was reported that an unknown person(s) smashed the left rear passenger door window to a rental car while it was parked on the third floor level of the Harvard Sq. parking garage located on JFK St. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
