Assault and Battery

On 10/28/09 at 8:00 AM, 22-year-old Omari Nurse of 207 Calendar St. Dorchester, MA was arrested at Columbia Terrace after an investigation revealed that he had struck his girlfriend multiple times and prevented her from completing a 911 call . He is being charged with Domestic Assault and Battery and Witness Intimidation.

 

Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended License

On 10/28/09 at 10:56 AM, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Mass Ave. the operator was issued a citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended License

 

Credit Card Fraud

On 10/28/09 at 1:05 PM, a victim reported that a credit card had been issued in his name and used for a purchase that he was unaware of.

 

Larceny Over $250

On 10/28/09 at 1:35 PM, an Arlington resident stated that money was stolen from her wallet on 10/26/09 while she was at work on Whittemore Ave.

 

Utter Counterfeit Note

On 10/28/09 at 1:36 PM, a Cambridge business on Concorde Ave. reported a counterfeit one hundred dollar bill was passed to them and one hundred dollars in real currency and beverages were taken by suspects.

On 10/28/09 at 1:41 PM, a resident of Massachusetts Avenue reported that an unknown person pried open the door to his room causing damage to the lock and stole several music CDs.

 

Operating a Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License

On 10/28/09 at 2:46 PM, a resident of Chelsea was observed operating a motor vehicle with an expired inspection sticker.  During the stop, it was discovered that the operator did not have a license and that her right to operate had been suspended. The suspect was summoned to court and the vehicle was towed.

On 10/28/09 at 5:04 PM, CPD units responded to a residence on Marcella St. on a 911 hang-up call. On arrival, it was determined that a domestic dispute had occurred.

On 10/28/09 at 6:39 PM, a Cambridge resident reported that she parked her motor vehicle somewhere in the area of Mass. Ave. in Central Square and was unable to locate it after searching for two days.

On 10/28/09 at 6:54 PM, a resident of Quincy was issued a citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle With a Suspended License after she was escorted from the CambridgeSide Galleria Mall following a shoplifting incident.

On 10/28/09 at 8:44 PM, a Chestnut Hill resident reported a theft of her GPS which was located in her parked motor vehicle on Auburn St. Entrance to the motor vehicle was gained by smashing the driver’s side window.
