On 10/30/09 at 12:04 AM, a Fitchburg, MA resident was located after fleeing a cab she had taken from Boston through Cambridge and fled the cab in the area of the Fresh Pond Mall.

On 10/30/09 at 12:17 AM, a verbal altercation between a husband and wife on Webster Ave. escalated and the husband reportedly hit his wife in the face.

On 10/30/09 at 12:59 AM, a victim's purse was stolen from the Cantab Lounge in Central Square.  The victim stated that the purse was lying on a table and an unknown suspect stole the purse.

On 10/30/09 at 2:53 AM, police were dispatched to a residence on Harvard St. on a domestic in progress.  Further investigation revealed a verbal argument between boyfriend and girlfriend. No physical violence was reported.

On 10/30/09 at 8:50 AM, it was reported that a car was towed from Story St. for street cleaning and when she picked up the car from B & B towing it was discovered that the GPS was stolen and the passenger door molding was missing.

On 10/30/09 at 9:57 AM, an assistant at the Mayor's Office contacted the police after a homeless male made the staff uncomfortable when he referred to "Timothy McVeigh" after he became annoyed when asked to have a seat and wait his turn to see the Mayor.

On 10/30/09 at 11:56 AM, a Memorial Dr. resident reported that he was the victim of identity theft.  The victim stated that while in a trip out of the country an unknown individual(s) was able to obtain a debit card for his checking account.  The victim reported that 3 withdrawals of $500 each was made out of his checking account.

On 10/30/09 at 1:44 PM, CVS Pharmacy on Mass Ave. reported that a male had just shoplifted from this location and fled out the store and the manager was following him. Subsequently, 58-year-old David carter, homeless, was arrested for Shoplifting.

On 10/30/09 at 3:12 PM, it was reported that a women's purse was stolen while at Cremas on Brattle St.

On 10/30/09 at 4:09 PM, officers were dispatched to Marvin Place for a suspicious person in the area. On arrival officers were informed by the resident she and her son were having a domestic dispute.

On 10/30/09 at 5:47 PM, while a car was parked on Mt. Auburn St. a motor vehicle was spray painted with a "V" on the hood.

On 10/30/09 at 7:49 PM, 44-year-old William Smith of 35 Boker St. Boston, MA was arrested and charged with Shoplifting. Store security at a CVS store on White St. observed the defendant conceal merchandise and leave the store with it.

On 10/30/09 at it was reported that a wallet was stolen from a locker at Mass Ave. .  The credit cards were later used to purchase goods from area stores.

On 10/30/09 at 8:59 PM, 19-year-old Lamont Daughtery of 145 Arlington St. Hyde Park, MA was arrested on outstanding warrants for Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery.

On 10/30/09 at 11:58 PM, a Boston resident reported that his backpack was stolen from a locker room from a health club on Bennett St.

On 10/31/09 at 12:31 AM, police were dispatched to Museum Wy. For a disturbance call. A girlfriend and boyfriend had a verbal argument. No physical violence was reported.

On 10/31/09 at 1:44 AM, 31-year-old Krishnakumar Ramamurthi of 19 Hawthorne St. Somerville, MA was arrested and taken into custody in front of 315 Massachusetts  Ave. for Disorderly Conduct. Ramamurthi made a scene and caused the sidewalk to be impassable for public passing. Police were unable to calm Ramamurthi down due to his enraged state.

On 10/31/09 at 2:20 AM, a Market St. resident reported that during an her boyfriend pulled her hair and punched her in the face.

On 10/31/09 at 3:29 AM, a Plympton St. resident was struck by a black colored SUV.  The victim was struck and dragged 150 feet and injured.  The vehicle fled the scene.

On 10/31/09 at 8:33 AM, it was reported that someone took $600.00 dollars in cash from the cash registers at Upper Crust Pizza on Brattle St.

On 10/31/09 at 10:18 AM, 40-year-old Sean Griffin of 75 Aberdeen Ave, Cambridge, MA was arrested on a Cambridge Default Warrant for OUI Liquor. He was arrested on Brattle St.

On 10/31/09 at 11:51 AM, a couple reported that while in their motor vehicle stopped for the red light at the intersection of First St. and Cambridge St. a male operator directly behind them began honking his horn at them urging the driver to turn on red.  Words were exchanged and both males exited their respective motor vehicle's when the operator "belly bumped" the reporting party and then kicked the motor vehicle's right 1/4 panel causing a dent to panel and driver door.

On 10/31/09 at 3:44 PM, 63-year-old David Carter, Homeless, was arrested for Domestic Assault and Battery on a Person over 60. Carter had a verbal argument with his girlfriend/wife which turned physical when Carter shoved her in front of the Post Office located on Mt. Auburn Street.

On 10/31/09 at 4:35 PM, a Cambridge resident was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License after he was stopped for a marked lanes violation on Broadway St. and it was discovered his license was suspended.

On 11/1/09 at 2:25 AM, a motorist from Lincoln, MA,  who was driving on Route 16 eastbound, between Matignon Rd. and Murray Hill Rd, reported that an unknown person(s) shot at this truck with a paint ball gun.

On 11/1/09 at 3:20 AM, police responded to the Gateway Inn on the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined that two residents had an argument in a common area which resulted in pushing between the two involved parties.

On 11/1/09 at 12:18 PM, police responded to Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston after hospital staff discovered that a walk-in patient to its E.R stated that his injuries were a result of an assault & battery that occurred earlier this morning inside his Cambridge residence.

On 11/1/09 at 1:43 PM, 54-year-old William Bambery of 12 Erikson St. Stoneham, MA was arrested in Central Square after he was stopped and was found in possession of a prescription bottle of oxycodones in another person's name.  Further investigation revealed that he had taken the drugs without permission from his female victim's apartment.

On 11/1/09 at 2:17 PM, police responded to the intersection of Pine St. and Washington St. for a report of malicious destruction.  Victim reported she parked her vehicle and when she returned to the vehicle she found the front window smashed.

On 11/1/09 at 5:33 PM, 28-year-old Colin Thorton of 2814 Maple Ave. Point Pleasant,  WVwas arrested at a residence on Lee Street for Domestic Assault & Battery. Thorton and his girlfriend had a verbal argument which escalated to a physical assault when Thorton took his knee to the victim's neck area and held her down on the bed.
