Children's Room Special Collections

The Children's Room at the Main Library has several special collections which are of interest to adults.

1. The Parenting Collection: Books, magazines, and tapes, which are designed for caregivers. These  resources cover many aspects of child development and behavior.
2. Resouces for Home Schoolers: Books, magazines, and notebooks of information which is pertinent to area homeschooling families.
3. Special Needs Collection: Books ( including several in Braille) and many learning aids which are designed for use with children with special leaning needs.
4. Professional Reference Collection: Books and magazines which are of particular interest to students and professionals in fields related to children's literature. These works do not circulate, but may be used inside the library.
