Drinking Water Quality Information
The Cambridge Water Department operates a drinking water quality laboratory at the 250 Fresh Pond Parkway facility. If you have questions about drinking water quality please call the Laboratory Staff at 617-349-4780.
We often answer questions about:
- Lead in Cambridge drinking water
- Water quality that impacts the setup and operation of home appliances
- Water quality that impacts the operation of laboratory or industrial high purity water systems
- Water main disinfection and bacterial testing
- Treatment process the CWD utilizes to treat Cambridge drinking water
