Description

As part of the City’s Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction program, Kinnaird Street is scheduled to be reconstructed between Putnam Avenue and River Street. In April 2014, a community meeting was held to discuss the design for Pearl Street. The City is anticipating that this work will begin in spring 2015.

Over the past few months, city staff has spent time evaluating the existing conditions and analyzing the suggestions that were brought forth to staff at the first community meeting, and have performed parking and traffic studies on Pearl Street. On Thursday, June 26 at 6:30pm in the Moore Youth Center (located on Gilmore Street), the Community Development Department and the Department of Public Works will be hosting a second community meeting that will be focused around the design phase of this project. We encourage you to attend to provide input as to what you would like to see.
