Continued from July 17th P&C hearing until Comcast receives MassDOT permit as it is their jurisdiction.  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  Monsignor O’Brien Hwy.  Place new 3’x3’ Comcast manhole over existing underground Comcast conduit at the south east corner of Water St. Trench approximately 1,140’ westerly on Monsignor O’Brien Hwy ending at the Somerville line on Monsignor O’Brien Hwy.  Three additional Manhole’s will be installed along the path including 6 lateral trenches to the property lines of 201,215, 225, 239 and 241 Monsignor O’Brien Hwy installing 1-4” PVC to each. See drawing for details. 

Petition continued from July 17th P&C hearing until Comcast receives MassDOT permit as it is their jurisdiction.  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:   25 Edwin H. Land Blvd.  From existing Manhole in first east bound lane, trench 45ft in public way, extending 32’ in sidewalk towards property line.  Install 1-4” PVC conduit and backfill and restore as required per City of Cambridge Specifications.

Petition continued from July 17th P&C hearing in order for Comcast to file new drawing.  See the following new petition for “Gore St.”     Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  Gore Street, from pole #223 on Gore St., trench approximately 8’ in the public way installing 1-4” conduit to the private property line of 10 Medford St. Somerville.  This will include the removal and replacement of two sidewalk panels.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  Pole 304/10 - 25 Gore St - Install one new power supply on telephone pole 304/10 field side, for upgraded power needs to existing Comcast system.  One 14Dx25Wx37H power supply will be placed field side on pole #304/10.  Inspection will follow installation.  Keenan Electrical Co. will install unit and apply for additional permits and electric service.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  4 Mercer Cir – From pole #8 on Mercer Cir, trench 20' in the public way to the private property line of 4 Mercer Cir.  This will include the removal and replacement of 1 sidewalk panel.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  200 Cambridge Park Dr.  – From existing Comcast manhole in front of 160 Cambridge Park Dr., trench approximately 289’ westerly, installing 2-4 inch conduits (one City shadow) and one new Comcast manhole.  Continue trench westerly an additional 19’ to sidewalk and install one sidewalk vault ending trench in front of 200 Cambridge Park Dr.  Trench will continue on the Private Property of 200 Cambridge Park Dr. from vault to service newly renovated building at 200 Cambridge Park Dr.  This will include the removal and replacement of 2 sidewalk panel.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  87 Cambridge Park Dr.  – From existing Comcast conduit system placed to the curb line in 2013, extend 1-4” PVC conduit 10’ in the public way in front of 87 Cambridge Park Dr.  Trench will continue on the Private Property of 87 Cambridge Park Dr. This will include the removal and replacement of 2 sidewalk panel.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following: 5 Temple St – Place one new Comcast frame and cover over existing Comcast conduit system at the corner of Bishop Allen Dr. and Temple St.  From new manhole location, trench 117' southerly in the public way to the private property line of 5 Temple St.  This will include the removal and replacement of brick sidewalk.

New Petition:  Last Mile Solutions, 25 Bowditch Drive, Shrewsbury, MA for the following: Construct and install (1)-1-1/4” PVC conduit for 60 feet to  47 Thorndike St. intercepting (1)-1-1/4” Forest City Owned conduit in the Level 3 joint trench building on 3rd St. with the nearest intersection being Thorndike St. A 1’X1’ street rated pull box will be placed over the existing conduit.  Forest City Networks will then install 200 feet of fiber optic cable in the newly constructed conduit and existing joint trench conduit back to Level 3 manhole 0515-0014 where a new fiber optic splice enclosure will be laced trying the new cable into the existing Forest City Network.

New Petition:  Verizon New England, Inc., 125 High Street, Oliver Tower, Floor 5, Boston, MA 02110, for the following:  Plympton Street Northeasterly from Pole 522/4, place one “y” and conduit a distance of approximately 7 feet.  The proposed conduit and wyes allows removal of an aerial cable from Pole 522/4 to 22 Plympton Street and relocates services at #22 Plympton Street and 9 Bow Street.  W.O. #1A0CX1F.

New Petition: Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA Essex Street – Southwesterly from manhole MHC2187 @ Bishop Allen Drive a distance of approximately 190 feet – conduit.  Rebuild manhole MHC1013.  This is to provide electric service to #6-12 Essex Street.  W.O. #1945815.

New Petition:  Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA Chestnut Street – At and southeasterly from Pleasant Street, a distance of about 703 feet – conduit.  Sidney Street – At and northeasterly from Pacific Street a distance of about 143 feet – conduit.  Landsdowne Street – Opposite Green Street install conduit between MHC19 and MHC3243 a distance of about 3 feet.  This is to provide electric service to 300 Mass Avenue.  W.O. #1945823. 

New Petition:  Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA Reservoir Street – Northeasterly from Pole 581/6, approximately 115 feet southwest of Highland Street, a distance of approximately 122 feet – conduit.  Reservoir Street – South from Pole 581/9, approximately 110 feet north of Highland Street, a distance of approximately 165 feet – conduit.  One new manhole MHC29891.  Highland Street – Westerly from Pole 356/18, approximately 120 feet east of Reservoir Street, a distance of approximately 143 feet – conduit.  Reason for this work is the owner of 26 Reservoir Street has requested Nstar to underground all of its existing overhead facilities.  W.O. #1992885. 

New Petition:  MIT, 77 Mass Ave., Cambridge, MA 02139 for the following:  from 2 Cambridge Center parking area, east across a new road being constructed as part of the City’s Traffic Improvements Project.  The conduits will then cross Broadway from south to north and terminate at One Broadway Street, owned by MIT.
