To Touch the Sun: A Discussion of Angular Momentum. Why can spacecraft travel to Uranus in less time than it takes to maneuver into a stable orbit around Mercury? What are the biggest challenges for the Solar Probe Plus mission? What is really happening during a "gravity assist" for a spacecraft? We will answer these questions (and more!) this month when we take a closer look at the conservation of angular momentum.

Program is free and open to the public.
