Cambridge Warriors Win Special Olympics State Title

On March 10, the Cambridge Warriors Mens Basketball Team won the state title at the annual Massachusetts State Special Olympics Basketball Championship hosted at Shrewsbury High School.

The team won all five of its games in Division One. Members of the team are: Ryan Harris (captain), Jason Heath (captain), Victor King (captain), Richard Johnson, Elmo Mickel, Devon Gaskin, Jim Connors, Prince Carter, Elias Said, John Connolly, Jovani Perez, Daniel Kasinsky, Richard Lochiatto, Wendell Baynes, and Lamar Forte.

The Cambridge Program is a program under the Department of Human Services that provides social and recreational programs for children and adults with disabilities in the Cambridge community. Programs run four days a week and include swimming, fitness, drama, dance, cooking, and a host of other activities.
