Personal and Career Exploration Program (PACE)
This eight week training is designed to help Cambridge students age 16-18 learn skills to succeed in the workplace, while exploring their own career interests.
Students learn to identify their interests and skills, research companies, and prepare resumes and cover letters. They participate in mock interviews to practice their communication skills and then visit a local company.
Upon successful completion, the students earn a stipend of $11 per hour, up to 17 hours.
PACE runs on Tuesday afternoons from 3-5 pm Jan 24-March 14 in CRLS computer classroom 1223, pending acceptance to the program.
During the enrollment period, applications will be available for download here, or can be picked up at the Youth Employment Center (CRLS Room 2101) and at the Office of Workforce Development, 51 Inman St.
