Neighborhood Service Project (NSP)

NSP teens

The NSP is a twelve week, paid community-based service-learning program that introduces young people age 14 and 15 to the world of work by engaging them in the development of a project that impacts their neighborhood.

Operated by OWD in partnership with the city’s Youth Centers, NSP teens work with an adult Community Liaison to identify a need in their community, design a project to address the need, and showcase their work to the community at large.

The program runs from February through May. Applications are available online here during the enrollment period. If you have any questions, please call Ken Bowers at 617-349-6272.
