Neighborhood Service Project (NSP)
The NSP is a twelve week, paid community-based service-learning program that introduces young people age 14 and 15 to the world of work by engaging them in the development of a project that impacts their neighborhood.
Operated by OWD in partnership with the city’s Youth Centers, NSP teens work with an adult Community Liaison to identify a need in their community, design a project to address the need, and showcase their work to the community at large.
The program will run from February 11- May 15, 2015. Applications are available online here. The deadline for submitting applications is currently February 6, 2015, but will be extended if needed. If you have any questions, please call Ken Bowers at 617-349-6272.
