Afterschool Programs are offered to children in grades Kindergarten to Sixth. There are seven programs located in four different elementary schools across the City. Cambridge takes pride in the quality of these licensed programs.
Family Support Programs
The Division of Childcare and Family Support Programs collaborates with many partners in the City of Cambridge to develop and implement services and supports for families. Activities include information and referral, one on one support for parents, parenting education workshops and classes, play activities for parents and children and parent support groups. Programming is offered in different languages and offered in a variety of locations around the city. The programs are often offered in partnerships with early childhood programs, community-based agencies and neighborhood groups.
