The GED Program at the Community Learning Center prepares students to take the five GED tests:
Language Arts: Reading
Language Arts: Writing
Mathematics
Science
Social Studies
The GED test stands for "Tests of General Education Development" and is the equivalent of a high school diploma.
If you are interested in classes for GED, come to the next intake. You will be assessed to find out which classes are best for you. Some students begin with classes in basic reading, writing, and math. Students who are ready can take GED preparation classes and the official GED Practice Tests before taking their exams at a local GED testing center. For more information on the GED test call:
