Registration Policies
Registration will start on Tuesday, September 12 through Friday, September 15. During this time, our office will be open for registration from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Registration will continue until classes are filled.
Please note: We will notify you ONLY if you are closed out of a class.
Unless otherwise indicated classes start the week of Monday, September 18 and end on Thursday, December 21.
Full payment is expected at registration unless a payment plan has been arranged with the program director.
Please pay by check or money order made out to the King Neighborhood Council.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
While we try to accomodate as many children and families as possible, some classes, fill up quickly and we may not be able to accomodate last minute enrollees.
We will give a full refund for any classes cancelled by the community school. Refunds will also be given to participants who drop a class before the second meeting.
Financial Assistance
Partial financial assistance is available for income-qualified students. Please request an application from the director.
Picking Up your Child
- Our instructors need to leave after their classes are done and cannot be responsible for students once their class is dismissed.
- Please help us by picking your child up at the end of his/her class or make appropriate arrangements.
- Let us know immediately if you have made a change in your child's schedule or if someone other than yourself or your emergency contact will be picking up your child.
- Please call if you are delayed for any reason. Please make sure you sign out with Pam or another staff before leaving.
Late Fees
Our policy requires that we charge a fee of $10 for each 10-minute increment or any fraction of 10 minutes past an agreed pickup time. If pickup times are a problem, please talk with us to work out a solution.
