The Longfellow Neighborhood Council is a group of Longfellow area residents who care about their neighborhood and who meet together regularly to discuss the issues, which affect this community. Such issues may include programming for children and adults in the Longfellow Community School, park activities in the neighborhood parks during the summer, park renovation and maintenance, special events such as potluck dinners, and seasonal events such as Halloween parties and neighborhood caroling. Successful programs such as our Music Program, “Home Sweet Home”, “Evenings With Longfellow” and “The Snow Park” will continue as well as our ongoing initiative, The Longfellow Neighborhood Council Historical Project. If there is a particular class or activity that you would like to see us offer, please let us know.
Any interested adult living in the area is welcomed to join the Council. Council meetings are at 6:00 on the second Monday of the month in the Council Office. For further Longfellow Council information, please call Penelope Kleespies at 617-349-6260 or 617-388-3890.
Note: All classes and activities are subject to change.
