Registration for the Fall program will be ongoing starting September 11th from 2:30–5:30pm. Classes will start on September 18th, unless otherwise indicated. Classes do not meet when school is not in session, but vacation activities are offered. Payment must accompany all registrations, no refunds are issued after first week of classes.

*Please be aware of the registration deadlines. Classroom teachers are not responsible for registering your child, however it is up to the parent to notify their child’s teacher after registering for classes. SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS: We always have many requests for scholarship assistance. In order to provide additional assistance to those families, we ask anyone who can to make a donation on their registration form. Your contribution goes a long way in the life of a child.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE: All classes begin the week of September 18, 2006. Registration for all programs will be on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Community School Office. Full payment is required when you register.
The Community School Council determines all programs offered at the Fitzgerald Neighborhood Council. Any Peabody School participant or North Cambridge resident is eligible to join. Your input and ideas are needed. Please call for dates of future meetings or more information.
PAYMENTS: Full payment is due at the time of registration unless a payment plan is arranged with the director. Checks should be made payable to: Fitzgerald Neighborhood Council. If you have any outstanding balances due with any Department of Human Service Program your child may not register until all payments are up to date.
REFUNDS: If a class does not fill, the class may have to be cancelled. This is a rare occurrence, but if it should happen you will be notified and given a full refund, with the opportunity to enroll in another class. We understand that there may be times when a class is not what your child expected. Refunds will be given only if we are notified within 24 hours of the first class your child attended.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Partial scholarships are available for children who qualify for free or reduced meals. You may request a confidential financial aid form from the director. income verification will be required.
EARLY RELEASE DAYS: Regular scheduled classes are not held on early release days. A special activity or field trip will be planned. Watch for flyers the week before, they will be distributed to all students. Class fees are set on the number of times a class actually meets. Therefore early release days and holidays, when there are no scheduled classes, have been taken into account and fees have been set accordingly.
HOLIDAYS AND SNOW DAYS: Classes are not held on snow days, school holidays or any other days there is no school for the Cambridge Public Schools.
FALL SESSION: Classes have been scheduled beginning the week of September 18, 2006 and ending the week of December 22, 2006.
LATE FEE POLICY: All children must be promptly picked up at the end of class. There will be a late fee charged if tardiness is consistent.
