The goals of the preschools begin with the desire to provide a safe, educationally, and socially enriching environment in which children learn to be self-confident. The program seeks to stimulate the children's curiosity and encourages well-rounded growth for their individual development based on their particular interests and needs. Breakfast and afternoon snack is served daily.
The M.L. King, King Open, East Cambridge, Morse and Peabody Schools, Preschool Programs are year round, full time, 5 day programs. The Haggerty Preschool Program is a 10 month, school year, half-day program with some 2 or 3 days a week slots available. Enrollment is ongoing for all preschool programs. Preschool Programs serve children 2 years 9 months to 5 years (not yet in Kindergarten).
