FALL SESSION DATES:
Classes have been scheduled for a 15 - week session beginning September 18th and ending December 22nd. The last week has been set aside as a make up week for teachers who have missed classes.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
The registration form should be filled out and dropped off during the noted registration times. Registrations are taken on a first come – first serve basis. After established registration dates, registrations will be accepted on a space available basis.
You will be notified only if the class you have chosen is full. If you do not hear from us you may assume your child is properly enrolled in the class.
PAYMENTS:
Full payment is due at the time of registration unless a payment plan is arranged with the director. Checks or Money Ordeers should be made payable to: Tobin Community School. If you have any outstanding balances due with any Department of Human Service Program your child may not register until all payments are up to date. Class fee’s are based on the number of weeks a class meets. Early Release Days and holidays are not counted in the number of weeks.
REFUNDS:
If a class does not fill, the class may have to be cancelled. This is a rare occurrence, but if it should happen you will be notified and given a full refund, with the opportunity to enroll in another class. We understand that there may be times when a class is not what your child expected. Refunds will be given only if we are notified within 24 hours after the first class your child has attended.
EARLY RELEASE DAYS:
Regular scheduled classes are not held on early release days. A special activity or field trip will be planned. Flyers will be distributed through the school via backpack express the week before.
FINANCIAL AID:
Partial scholarships are available. You may request a confidential financial aid form from the director. Income verification will be required and only children who qualify for free or reduced meals are eligible.
SCHOLARSHIP DRIVE:
We have many requests for financial aid. So that we may provide assistance to those families, we ask anyone who can to make a donation on their registration form. We thank you for your help.
HOLIDAYS AND SNOW DAYS:
Classes are not held on snow days, school holidays or on days The Cambridge Public Schools are closed.
LATE FEE POLICY:
All children must be promptly picked up at the end of class. There will be a late fee of $10.00 charged for every 15 minutes you are late.
