Food

Inspectional Services Department enforces the State Sanitary Code.  Food establishments that are inspected at least twice a year are: 

                      *Restaurant  *School   *Bakery   *Daycare 
              *Mobile Food Truck   *Package Store   *Retail Store  

Temporary Food Handler Permits are given for:

                          *Special Events  *Farmer's Markets

ISD occasionally receives complaints regarding some of these type establishments.  The City of Cambridge Sanitary Inspectors respond to the complaints and enforce the State Sanitary Code.

A Caterer licensed in another city or town must register with the City of Cambridge when they will be serving meals within Cambridge.
