CAMBRIDGE DISCOVERY DAYS 2009: FOCUS ON ARCHITECTURE

Two Saturdays! August 8 and 15, 2009

Explore Cambridge history and culture with free tours and programs on a variety of topics at sites throughout the city. This year’s events focus on Cambridge architecture, from Georgian to Modern. Walks featuring landscape architectural designs and specific architects like Lois Lilley Howe will also be offered. Cambridge Discovery Days will also include old favorites, such as walks about poets, art, first-person character portrayals, and a vintage baseball game. Special programs and tours for children and young people will also be offered.
