The ITD staff is comprised of four major groups;

• Application & Project Management
• Technical Support
• Geographical Information Services
• Systems & Network Management

ITD is a culturally diverse staff representing over eight nationalities including the United States. There is a broad range of educational and technical experience within the staff and there is a strong focus on teamwork and quality as part of our goal in providing services. ITD is responsible for supporting three major Enterprise Resource Management systems, a fully implemented fiber optic network, an interactive Internet Web Site including pay on line capability and a wide variety of cutting edge hardware and software products. The City of Cambridge GIS system and the ITD team that support it have been recognized with the 2002 Special Achievement in GIS award at the ERSI International Users Conference in San Diego last July. Our team takes pride in delivering innovation in technology and quality products and services to the employees and residents of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
