Step 1: The police departments of Harvard University, MIT, and Lesley College distribute the Party Request/Event Registration form. The applicant should obtain and complete this form, and submit it to the respective college police department for approval. In completing this form, the applicant must provide details of the event: Cambridge License Commission

Step 2:
DEAN'S OFFICE
The Dean's Office must approve the event and sign-off on the Party Request/Event Registration form.
Step 3:
The applicant must submit the completed Party Request/Event Registration form to the License Commission at least three business days before the event. The License Commission will issue the one day peddler/vendor license upon approval, at which point the applicant will pay the required fee. The License Commission will conduct a site visit during the event.
Step 1:
EVENT PREMISE
The applicant must obtain a Letter of Permission from an authorized representative of the event premise. The letter should describe the event: date, start and end time, number of people expected to attend, type of event, name of vendor/peddler, his/her contact information, and types of goods to be sold.
Step 2:
The applicant must submit the Letter of Permission to the License Commission at least three business days before the event.
Once the applicant has met all requirements, the license will be issued. The applicant must then pay the required fee. The License Commission will conduct a site visit during the event.
