Recycle
or Donate Your Old Cell Phone |
| |
Did you know
that less than 1% of cell phones in the
US are recycled? New rules that allow cell
phone users to keep their phone number when
switching carriers is predicted to produce
millions of “retired” cell phones,
most of which will end up in landfills where
they have the potential to leak toxic chemicals
into the ground.
Help make a positive difference for our
environment and those in need this holiday
season—if you give or receive a new
cell phone, make sure any retired phones
are recycled or donated to people in need.
