What to Recycle
Recycling & Trash Guidelines

Curbside recycling of blue bins is provided to residents in buildings with up to 6 units. Toters are provided to apartment buildings with 7 units or more.

Recycling is easy and the law in Cambridge.
If you are a homeowner and recycle alot of paper, you could be eligible for a 64-gallon "toter" for paper and cardboard. Email and ask!

Recycling is picked up on the same day as trash. During holiday weeks, curbside collection is delayed one day. Set out your recycling by 7am on collection day, or after 6pm the night before. Find out where your recycling goes! Talk to your neighbors about how, what and why to recycle.

Call (617) 349-4800 if your recycling or yard waste was missed and is properly prepared.
