Just one gallon of used
motor oil has the potential to contaminate

a year's supply for 50 people!
Recycle used oil by returning
it to the point of purchase with your receipt.
State
law requires retailers to accept
it and recycle it at no cost to you.
Oil generated from residential
use can also be brought to the DPW. No other
automotive liquids accepted. No oil from

Why its Important to Recycle Used
Motor Oil...
Used motor oil that ends up in rivers, lakes
and streams poses a serious threat to aquatic
life. Thanks for doing the right thing!
If all the used motor oil that is improperly
disposed of were properly managed, the United
States could save thousands of barrels of oil
each day. Used oil that is properly handled, can
be re-refined into lubricants, processed into
fuel oils, and used as raw materials for petrochemical
industries.
