Since the beginning
of curbside recycling in 1991, the Department
of Public Works has explored ways to increase
participation in the recycling program. By demonstrating
that recycling is easy, convenient and worthwhile,
we can gain a committment to recycle from residents.
Each community member that recognizes the benefits
of recycling will participate and recruit their
fellow neighbors to recycle. All of our recycling
efforts will continue to increase our positive
impact on the environment and economy.
