Weather permitting,
bare trees will be collected from residents
for recycling.
Remove stand and decorations. Do not put in
a plastic bag.
When?
Monday,
December 28, 2009 through Friday January
8, 2010. Place bare trees
at the curb by 7am on collection day or
after 6pm the night before.
Why?
Christmas trees collected during
this time don't get buried or burned. Last
year, City residents recycled over 4700 trees.
The chipped trees was used as mulch in natural
areas in Cambridge.
