Update from Brian Zilinsky,
Massachusetts Highway Department:
NSTAR Gas and Electric will
complete the last phase of utility
relocations this week. This
is another significant milestone
in the project as all electric
and gas lines are now on the
pedestrian bridge. This will
allow us to begin demolition
of the existing bridge and construction
of drilled shaft foundations
for the new bridge. We will
update you before we begin this
work.
For the next two weeks, May
7-11 and 14-18, J.F. White will
be installing new water main
at the Walden St./ Richdale
Ave. intersection. Traffic will
be maintained at all times with
police details. Any water service
interruptions will be coordinated
with the City Water Dept. and
affected abutters.
