MassHighway's contractor, JF White Construction, will begin demolishing the old Walden Street Bridge on Monday, August 13th.

Because of the railroad operating below the bridge, the contractor has closely coordinated with the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Rail Company to develop the following schedule:

• Deck demolition: August 13th - 22nd daytime construction
• Steel superstructure removal: August 27th - 31st nighttime construction
