NEW YEAR'S DAY BIRD WALK with the Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation
Start the New Year right and take part in an
annual tradition by going on a bird walk at Fresh Pond! We will use a
telescope to get close-up looks at waterfowl on the Pond and binoculars to
identify the over-wintering songbirds in the trees and in the Lusitania Wetland
Meadow. Beginners are welcome! We will lend you binoculars and show you how to
use them. Hats, gloves, and warm boots are essential. To register and for parking and meeting
