Spring Classic 5k to benefit Massachusetts Special Olympics
Traffic will be temporarily impacted for the Spring Classic 5k race to benefit Massachusetts Special Olympics Sunday, Apr. 28. Sidney St. will be disrupted from 9:20-9:32 a.m. Franklin St. will be closed from 9:40-10:10 a.m. Race starts at 9:30 a.m. on Sidney St. at Franklin and heads to Mass. Ave. The race then takes left onto Mass Ave for about 1.25 miles from Sidney St to Linden St.
The westbound lane of Mass Ave will have rolling closures from 9:30-9:48 a.m. Linden St will be disrupted between 9:37-9:48 a.m. The race then takes left onto Mt. Auburn St., which will have rolling closure from 9:38-9:50 a.m. The race then takes right onto Putnam Ave. and continues to Brookline St. This stretch of Putnam Ave will have rolling closures from 9:41-9:55 a.m. The race then takes left onto Brookline which will be disrupted from 9:45-9:58 a.m. The race takes right onto Franklin St. where it finishes close to Sidney St.
