Traveler Advisory: Preparing for a Potential Cambridge Snow Emergency Parking Ban

With the potential for significant snowfall in Cambridge later this week, the City is advising residents who may be traveling out of town during the next few days to double check that vehicles parked on the street are not located on streets marked as “No Parking during a Snow Emergency.”

If the City declares a Snow Emergency, all vehicles parked on streets with Snow Emergency parking restrictions will be ticketed and towed.

In the event that a snow emergency is declared, the City will send out a CodeRed notification and post information on the its Homepage. If you have not signed-up to receive CodeRed notifications, you can register at http://www.cambridgema.gov/AlertNetwork.aspx
