MIT's Program in Art, Culture and Technology welcomes Istanbul-based sociologist, art historian, and writer, Pelin Tan, for our final Monday Night Lecture Series event of the season. Tan was a research fellow here at ACT in 2011, and we're delighted to have her back to present a talk entitled, "Transversal Methodology: labor, love, fear."

A discussion following the lecture, featuring responses by the Director of the Center for Civic Media at MIT's Media Lab, Ethan Zuckerman, and Lillian Hsu, artist and director of Public Art, Cambridge Arts Council will be moderated by ACT graduate students Ursula August and Angel Chen.

ACT's Monday night lecture series is conceived by Gediminas Urbonas, ACT director, and coordinated by Amanda Moore, ACT alumna '11, Public Programs and Communications Coordinator, in conversation with ACT graduate students.
