This class will trace the history of the concert movie from the earliest days of film to the present, surveying such films as Jazz on a Summer’s Day, Gimme Shelter, and Stop Making Sense. A diverse range of filmmakers, performing artists, and filming techniques will be discussed. Instructor: Brad Glanden
