Gallery Talk: Reliefs from Persepolis-in Stone and in Watercolor

Susanne Ebbinghaus, the George M.A. Hanfmann Curator of Ancient Art and head of the Division of Asian and Mediterranean Art, will take modernist architect Eliot Noyes’s watercolors of reliefs from Persepolis as a starting point to explore the sculptural decoration of the palaces at this ancient Persian city.

Please meet in the Calderwood Courtyard, in front of the digital screens between the shop and the admissions desk. Museums staff will be on hand to collect tickets.

Free with museums admission. This talk is limited to 15 people and tickets are required. Ten minutes before the talk, tickets will become available at the admissions desk.
