 Each summer, Cambridge parks come alive with music, dance, storytelling, theater, puppetry, movies and more! Cambridge Arts' "Summer In The City" program offers a wide array of FREE, multicultural, interactive arts programs, performances, and activities both day and night for children, families, and the entire community.

Summer in the City is supported by the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Community Foundation (CCF). Founded in 1916, CCF is the only charitable foundation focused on all of Cambridge. CCF now returns a total of $1.3 million each year to a broad range of social service agencies, including the Cambridge Arts Council.     This year's Circus is called Our Domestic Insurrection Circus because of the urgency of the national and international situation. It will hopefully be able to ridicule the ridiculous and make fun of the obvious. Water, soil, air, and the livelihood and health of the most vulnerable are all under attack. Special attention is required for all elementary protections and their protectors. That is exactly the ambition of this year's Circus.
