Community Advisory Board on the Living Wage

Authority: 
Chapter 2.121 of the Cambridge Municipal Code and City Council Order, 1999.

Purpose:
To review the effectiveness of the City Living Wage Ordinance at creating and retaining Living Wage jobs, to make recommendations to the City Manager regarding the granting of Waivers to Covered Employees, to review the implementation and enforcement of the Ordinance, and to make recommendations in connection therewith.

Membership: 
9 members; to include representatives of labor unions, community organizations and the business community.

3 years

Meetings: The board meets as needed, generally 2-3 times per year.
Next Meeting:  The Thursday, Jan. 31 meeting has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held Thursday, Mar. 7, at 6 p.m., in the Ackermann Room of Cambridge City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave.
