Pedestrian Committee
Authority:
Recommendation from Vehicle Trip Ordinance Ch. 10.17 of Cambridge Municipal Code.
Purpose:
To create a more comfortable and safe environment for walking in the City of Cambridge, promote walking as a means of transportation and enhance safety conditions for pedestrians. The Committee advises on the design of roadway projects, helps develop design guidelines as they affect people on foot and makes suggestions about how projects can be improved for pedestrians
Membership:
Unspecified number of citizens and representatives from City departments

2 years (renewable)
