Pole, Conduit Commission

Authority: 
Chapters 213-14 of the Acts of 1922.

Purpose: 
Regulate the installation and maintenance of electrical poles and underground conduits for City property.

Fee:  Utility companies are required to pay a fee for each petition that they submit to the Pole and Conduit Meeting.  The fee is charged per street.  The Residential fee is $110.00 and the Commercial fee is $180.00.

3 members (Superintendent of Streets, City Electrician, and License Commission Chair)

Pole and Conduit meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 10 a.m., in the Conference Room at 831 Mass Ave., Cambridge.
